MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY CERTIFICATE

Develop the language required to communicate effectively in a medical setting. Medical terminology, word structure as well as diagnostic procedures and pharmacology related to twelve body systems will be studied.
This course is for those who wish to pursue a career in the health-care field, medical terms are frequently used. Students will acquire working knowledge of medical vocabulary used in the medical office, such as medical records laboratory reports. It is important for students to understand that medical professionals value employees who can speak, understand, and write “language” of medical terminology with confidence.
INTRODUCTION TO ACCOUNTING CERTIFICATE: MANUAL (40 HOURS)

Learn basic accounting concepts and methodology as applied to either a service or a merchandising business. The course covers the accounting equation, balance sheets, income statements and the end-of-period process.
INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTERIZED ACCOUNTING CERTIFICATE: QUICKBOOKS (40 HOURS)

Acquire the fundamentals of computerized accounting using QuickBooks. Learn how to record transactions, fix errors, customize forms and generate and print forms and reports. Develop the skills needed to perform advanced software functions and tasks.
INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTERIZED ACCOUNTING: SAGE 50 (40 HOURS)

This course introduces you to Sage 50 for Windows. Learn to create business accounting systems that analyze and process regular business transactions. Develop the skills needed to both process daily transactions and complete period-end adjustments and financial statements.
MICROSOFT OFFICE PROGRAM CERTIFICATE

These modules are intended for those who want to develop the skills that are essential in today’s competitive office workplace. Each module is delivered by correspondence or in-class.

Correspondence:The student can complete these modules at their own home. The student must attend school to complete demonstration assessments.
In-class: Self-motivated learning environment. The student should have a set schedule.
